What items can we donate?
Donate smartphones or other personal electronic devices.
What security measures are implemented to safeguard my donation?
Per the NIST 800-88 Revision 1 Guidelines, complete data erasure is guaranteed for all electronic devices. Items that are damaged or deemed unusable will be securely disposed of through a recycler certified under ISO 14001 R2 standards.
Is my donation eligible for tax deduction?
All contributions made to the 911 Cell Phone Bank on behalf of TAFYS are eligible for tax deductions. We recommend consulting with a tax professional for any advice or assistance. Please download the donation receipt using the provided link.

What do I recieve through this program?
The program participants will be provided with a mobile device that includes a 60-day paid service for calls and text messaging, a charger, and headphones.

Any portable electronic device that digitally stores personally identifiable information or other forms of personal, private, and confidential information will be accepted. Examples of accepted personal electronics include (but are not limited to):
- Mobile devices, including cellular phones and smartphones from various service providers and manufacturers;
- Laptop computers from all manufacturers;
- Tablets from all manufacturers;
- Cameras from all manufacturers;
- Digital media players, such as MP3, DVD, and CD players, voice recorders, etc., from all manufacturers;
- Portable video game systems from all manufacturers;
- Smartwatches from all manufacturers;
- Memory storage devices, such as SD cards and external storage devices from all manufacturers;
- Electronic accessories such as chargers, headsets, earphones, and rechargeable batteries from all manufacturers;
- Internal and external hard drives.
