PROGRAMS
Every TAFYS program was created with input from youth and young adults who have lived through foster care. Here, you’ll find ways to get support, build community, and level up your goals at your own pace.
Bright Futures Book Hub
The Bright Futures Book Hub promotes literacy and a love of learning by providing free, age-appropriate books to children, youth, and families impacted by foster care and related systems. The program helps ensure every child has access to books that support education, imagination, and emotional growth.
Grow with TAFYS connects youth and young adults to free or low-cost career certificate programs that build in-demand skills and support economic stability. The initiative empowers participants to explore career pathways, strengthen résumés, and prepare for long-term success.
Home for the Holidays provides meaningful holiday celebration to children, youth, and families by creating moments of joy during the holiday season. The program emphasizes belonging, dignity, and connection during a time that can be especially difficult for those impacted by foster care.
The Hygiene and Personal Care Drive distributes essential hygiene items to children, youth, and families to support health, dignity, and daily well-being. This program addresses a critical but often unmet need for individuals experiencing transitions, instability, or limited resources.
Through the Jockey Being Family Backpacks program, TAFYS provides a FREE backpack personalized with their initials and filled with a cozy blanket and coveted Jockey Being Family® bear. Parents receive a tote that includes valuable post-adoption resources such as FREE webinars and online courses to help them navigate through their adoption journey.
