🎄 The Holiday Table 🎁

Let’s come together for food, music, and fun this holiday season!
The 2026 date, time, and location will be shared once finalized.

A Night of Connection, Celebration, and Community

The holidays are often centered around a table. Where stories are shared, laughter is heard, and people come together. But for many young adults with lived experience in foster care, that table has looked different… or has been missing altogether.

The Holiday Table was created to change that.

On December 10th, we’re gathering foster care alumni for a night that is about more than celebration. It’s about connection, relationships, and building chosen family.

💛 Why This Night Matters

For many of our young adults, the holiday season can be one of the hardest times of the year. While others gather with family traditions and lifelong connections, too many are spending this time feeling isolated or disconnected.

The Holiday Table exists to change that experience.

This evening is intentionally designed to:

  • Build meaningful relationships
  • Strengthen relational permanency
  • Create space for belonging and connection
  • Help young adults form trusted, lasting support systems
  • Celebrate the strength, resilience, and future of our youth

Because research and lived experience both show the same truth:

When people have strong, supportive relationships, they are more likely to thrive, heal, and break cycles of trauma.

🍽️ What the Night Looks Like

Guests will enjoy a warm, welcoming evening filled with:

  • A shared holiday meal
  • Music and celebration
  • Interactive activities and conversation spaces
  • Connection-building moments designed to help people truly meet one another
  • Holiday surprises and giveaways
  • A space where no one has to sit alone

Most importantly, every seat at The Holiday Table represents something bigger: connection, dignity, and belonging.

We tend to get busy and forget the important things especially during holidays, we enjoyed making the gingerbread houses as a family and seeing my daughters happiness while playing games and opening the presents made me realize kids are growing up, spend time with them regardless of how busy life gets. It was really fun, my daughters were nervous because they didn’t know what to expect, but once we got there they got comfortable. Food was delicious, different food so that was good. We got to play games, the children got to pick many prizes(toys) and even got presents. Thank you again for having this, we loved our experience.
